A Small Bathroom That Hides the Shower

Decorate small bathrooms

In this bathroom, a low wall was placed separating the shower from the sink, so that the screen has been dispensed with. In fact, the shower area is completely hidden. The white helps to multiply the light and the black details give the bathroom a modern look.

The shower, in the minimum space

Keep in mind that for a shower to be comfortable it must have dimensions of at least 60 x 60 cm or showering will be uncomfortable. In any case, our recommendation is that the width is, at least, 70 cm.

With wall-hung toilet

Another resource in small bathrooms is to place a suspended toilet with a built-in cistern. This eliminates visual noise and the image of the space is much cleaner.

Black Details

The black details in this bathroom, as well as the mosaic tile in a hexagonal shape, are responsible for achieving a modern, up-to-date, and bright look in this bathroom.

The Plan Of A Small Bathroom With A Shower

This bathroom underwent a total reform, by replacing the bathtub with a shower and modifying the location of the sink so that it rests on the wall that separates the shower.

A Built-In Shower

Again, we see how the space occupied by the bathtub has been used to place a shower. In this case, with a front and folding opening screen, as space allows.

A bathroom with lots of storage

One of the solutions for this bathroom was to place a large bathroom cabinet with enough storage for the whole family. For this, a floor-length model was chosen, with drawers that allow you to see the interior at a glance. The absence of handles makes your image cleaner.

Little space, well used

As can be seen in the plan, although the bathroom has two sinks in the bathroom furniture. One is just the same height as the toilet.

More Space By Replacing The Bathtub With A Shower

Changing the bathtub for a shower is one of the most common reforms. It makes the bathroom more comfortable and visually expands the space. This is what was done in this small bathroom, in which a fixed semi-screen was also placed to prevent the toilet from getting wet. To give continuity, the same floor was used throughout the bathroom, also in the shower.

Built-in cistern and more storage

In the renovation of this small bathroom with a shower, the decision was made to embed the toilet tank, which provides a cleaner image of the space. In addition, the upper space was used to place a custom closet that provides storage.

Overlapping washbasin and built-in faucet

Due to the small dimensions of this bathroom, every resource is little to free up space. For this reason, a countertop sink was chosen, which leaves the surface free to place personal hygiene products, as well as a built-in tap, which offers a very clean image.

A bright and comfortable bathroom

As you have seen in the previous images, one of the resources used in this bathroom was to place the same porcelain tile on the countertop, the floor, and the walls. So the bathroom seems larger than it is.

A Small Bathroom With A Sliding Screen

One of the most important elements when planning a small bathroom with a shower is the screen. If possible, always choose a model with the minimum profiles and if it is fixed, its presence will be less imposing. But if the space of the shower is minimal, you will have to choose a  sliding screen, which facilitates access to the interior and is comfortable.

A small bathroom with minimal space

This bathroom has all the comforts, although for this the elements have been chosen to the millimeter. For this reason, the bathroom furniture is embedded in a corner and the bathtub was changed for a shower.

With Color

The color that works best in a small bathroom is, without a doubt, white, as it helps to provide light and spaciousness. But if you want to bring a little color you can do it through the shower wall. Here a layered tile with a gloss finish has been chosen.

One of the drawbacks of a small bathroom is the opening of the door. Therefore, if there is not enough space, it is best to place the toilet so that it does not hit when you open the door.

With Layered Tiles

If you don’t want a white bathroom, even if it’s small, choose a gloss layered tile model that reflects light without sacrificing color. In this case, a taupe color has been chosen that provides a timeless and modern look. Also noteworthy is the sliding screen, with embedded profiles, which provides a cleaner look.

Take advantage of the spaces to add storage

Another solution to take advantage of the space behind the door of a small bathroom with a shower is to place a cupboard in which to store toilet paper, towels… The floor plan of this small bathroom with a shower shows it perfectly.

A Small Bathroom With A Very Intimate Shower

Since this bathroom is used by the whole family, the bidet has been eliminated and in its place, a large custom bathroom cabinet with two sinks with storage space for all family members has been planned. For greater comfort, a heated towel rail has been placed in the back.

Separate spaces in cabins

So that this bathroom can be used by everyone with some privacy. Both the toilet and the shower have been separated into separate cabins. To ensure privacy (and light) smoked glass doors have been chosen, which let in light but prevent a clear view to the other side.
